Welcome to Clinton County Public Transit
Clinton County Public Transit (CCPT) is considering changes to the Rural Paratransit service, including the possible elimination of the service, and is seeking public involvement in the planning process.
There will be a Coordinated Transportation meeting on Thursday September 24th from 10:00am to 11:30am to facilitate a discussion between stakeholder agencies. This meeting is open to the general public.
There will be a public meeting on Tuesday September 29th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm to explain the possible changes to the system, answer questions and gather comments.
Both meetings are open to the general public and will be held at 137 Margaret Street in room 103.

Clinton County Public Transit (CCPT) serves Clinton County and the City of Plattsburgh. We are a public transportation provider with a fleet of sixteen buses. CCPT provides approximately 200,000 rides per year linking the towns within Clinton County to the City of Plattsburgh. It is our goal to provide a safe and reliable service that is both accessible and affordable to the residents and visitors of Clinton County.
CCPT offers transportation to and from the City of Plattsburgh by way of AuSable, Champlain/Rouses Point, Clayburg, Ellenburg, and Lyon Mountain.
Service is also provided throughout the City of Plattsburgh between Clinton Community College, SUNY Plattsburgh, Downtown Plattsburgh, Cumberland Head, and various stores and plazas along Cornelia Street (Route 3).

Essex County Transportation, Clinton County Public Transit and Franklin County Public Transportation are working together to provide more transportation options for the North Country through a Web site that provides opportunities to share rides.
