Route & System Update
Clinton County Public Transit (CCPT) is in the process of updating its routes in order to better serve our patrons. It is a long process that has involved coordination and communication with many organizations including, but not limited to: Clinton County Economic Collaborative (CCEC) Public Transit Initiative; Clinton Community College; Champlain Centre Mall; and, First Transit, Inc. Additionally, information from rider surveys, routes audits, employer and employee surveys, transit forums and many other venues has served to round out the suggestions for change and improvement. An overall system update has not occurred for more than five years. It is a long process that we hope to have completed by the end of September to coincide with the opening of our new transit facility. During this time, we will not post route schedules on the website as we do not want our riders to have incorrect information. If you need route information, please call Dispatch at (518) 561-1452. You may also obtain schedules from the Information Desk as the Champlain Centre Mall; the Clinton County Planning Department located at 135 Margaret Street in downtown Plattsburgh; and from any of the bus drivers. |
