Days of Operation
:
All C.C.P.T. regular routes operate Monday through Friday except the Saturday Shuttle which operates only on Saturdays. CCPT routes DO NOT operate on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and December 25th (Except for the South City route which operates on Labor Day if Clinton Community College classes are in session). CCPT typically ends service early on December 24th and New Year’s Eve. Flyers are posted on the buses with the end of service times.
Timetables contained herein are estimated times. Please plan to arrive at bus stops and your destination early in case of unforeseen circumstances. Weather, traffic, and other circumstances can affect the timeliness of service. Please contact dispatch at (518) 561-1452 to find out where any particular bus is at any given time. Schedules and prices are subject to change.

Taking the bus:
Please be early to catch your bus and wait visibly where the bus makes its regular stops. Drivers are required to make a complete stop at each scheduled stop, but may not see you if you are waiting in a vehicle or inside a building. If you have any questions on where exactly to wait for a bus, please contact dispatch at (518) 561-1452. We are working on putting signs up at bus stop locations, but it is not always possible to mark the bus stops.

Flagging the bus:
Passengers can “flag” a bus similar to flagging a taxi.. You must be along a bus route, clearly visible, and you must wave to the bus to get the driver’s attention to stop. Please wave well ahead of the bus so the driver has time to stop. You may also contact dispatch at (518) 561-1452 to let them know you will be waiting for a bus. Flag stops are not available on the four lane section of Cornelia Street  or anywhere it is unsafe for the bus to stop. The SUNY Shuttle route DOES NOT make flag stops.

Route Deviation:
CCPT city routes operating outside of the hours of operation for paratransit service and CCPT rural routes operate as deviation service. The bus will deviate up to 3/4 mile off the scheduled route. Requests for deviations must be made before the bus is scheduled to be in your area by contacting the dispatch office at (518) 561-1452. The fare for Route Deviation is $3.00 or $2.50 for persons over 60 years old showing proof of age. This fare is in place of -not in addition to- the regular fare.
